Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation and Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain effective sanitation and compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of the facility, including the development and implementation of a master sanitation schedule.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all employees understand and adhere to sanitation and food safety protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure that all sanitation and food safety protocols are being followed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met, including those related to OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the procurement and inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Employee Safety: Develop and implement programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a sanitation and quality assurance role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of sanitation and food safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance principles.
  • Certifications: SQF, HACCP, and OSHA certifications preferred.
