Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse II

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). As a Registered Nurse II, you will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level, utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Monitor and report patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
  • Participate in education and training programs to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
