About the Role:

Hillcrest Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team as a Chef/Cook. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents and patients.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement menus that are both nutritious and appealing.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Collaborate with our dietary team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that our residents and patients receive the best possible care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen, with a focus on line cooking.
  • Excellent culinary skills, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
