Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Division of Health Services, Integrated Care, Pharmacy Unit, you will be instrumental in overseeing and managing various healthcare initiatives and projects.

  • Accurately process pharmacy claims, including Prior Authorization, Medical Necessity reviews, and Pharmacy Client Lock-ins.
  • Administer Opioid Related prescription treatments with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for providers and members, addressing inquiries related to healthcare claims and pharmacy access.
  • Effectively listen to concerns, identify the root causes of disputes, and resolve issues to ensure member satisfaction.
  • Organize and maintain ongoing activities for the implementation and integration of non-clinical aspects of health programs and projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, share innovative ideas, and maintain flexibility in scheduling to ensure consistent pharmacy coverage.

Position Details
This role is hybrid, with a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.

Selection Process

Job Class Purpose
This position is accountable for executing high-level work in the implementation and coordination of the non-clinical components of healthcare programs or projects.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess considerable knowledge of public health agency objectives, program planning, and evaluation methodologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with pharmacy claims processing systems and Opioid Related prescription treatments is highly desirable.
