Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Division of Health Services, Integrated Care, Pharmacy Unit, you will be instrumental in overseeing and executing various healthcare programs and initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately processing pharmacy claims, including Prior Authorization and Medical Necessity reviews.
  • Managing Opioid-related prescription treatments with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Serving as the primary liaison for healthcare providers and members, addressing claims and pharmacy access inquiries with professionalism.
  • Listening to concerns, identifying the root causes of disputes, and resolving issues to ensure member satisfaction.
  • Coordinating ongoing activities for the implementation and integration of non-clinical aspects of health programs and projects.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share innovative ideas and maintain flexibility in scheduling to ensure consistent pharmacy coverage.

Position Details
This position is hybrid and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Purpose of the Role
This role is accountable for executing high-level work in the coordination and implementation of non-clinical components of healthcare programs or projects.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess considerable knowledge of public health agency objectives, risk factors related to health issues, and the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively. A minimum of seven years of professional experience in a health organization is required, with at least one year in healthcare program administration or related fields.
