Aerospace Mechanism Developer

Are you a skilled Aerospace Mechanism Developer looking for a new challenge? We're seeking an experienced professional to join our Advanced Upper Stage team at Blue Origin. As a member of this team, you'll contribute to the development of New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle designed for routine flights to various orbits.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for designing mechanisms for space flight, including thrust vector control, engine gimbaling mechanisms, docking systems, and separation systems. This will involve participating in the entire design cycle of flight hardware, from conceptual and detailed design to structural analysis, development testing, and qualification.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanisms for space flight, including thrust vector control, engine gimbaling mechanisms, docking systems, and separation systems.
- Collaborate with the Advanced Upper Stage team to develop Thrust Vector Control and Mechanical Separation System deployments.
- Contribute to the development of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering (or similar discipline).
- Recent experience designing aerospace or equivalent type mechanical system elements within aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicles.
- Strong mechanical design, integration, and mechanism analysis skills using 3D modeling and simulation tools (CREO/ANSYS preferred).
Estimated salary: $136,467.00-$191,053.80 per year based on location and experience.
