ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
A bachelor’s degree in a human services field or relevant experience is preferred, but various factors will be considered. To qualify for this entry-level role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Eagerness to learn and apply the CARE practice model and TCI system
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Genuine passion for mentoring youth
In this role, you will work within a residential facility dedicated to supporting young individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities include fostering healthy behaviors and promoting independence among residents. You will implement therapeutic programs and model essential life skills, coping strategies, and social interactions. By maintaining thorough documentation and utilizing CARE and TCI practices, you will create a secure environment that enables every resident to thrive. Understanding each resident's unique trauma history and triggers will allow you to effectively de-escalate challenging situations.
