About the Therapeutic Foster Care Supervisor Role

Hoyleton Youth and Family Services is seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Foster Care Supervisor to lead our Therapeutic Foster Home in Belleville, IL. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting youth with mental health and acute behavior problems in a home environment, serving as a bridge to permanent family placements.

As a Therapeutic Foster Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating the moving parts of our program, including interviewing, selecting, training, and evaluating team members. You will work closely with foster parents, Hoyleton colleagues, DCFS, the courts, and other community organizations to ensure the development and implementation of clinically sound individualized crisis management plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the Therapeutic Foster Home program, including interviewing, selecting, training, and evaluating team members
  • Work closely with foster parents, Hoyleton colleagues, DCFS, the courts, and other community organizations to ensure the development and implementation of clinically sound individualized crisis management plans
  • Foster a culture that values foster parents and supports their voice as full members of the team
  • Lead a team of professionals to provide high-quality services to youth and families

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work, education, or another human services field
  • Licensure by DCFS or eligibility for licensure (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT)
  • 3 years of professional experience in providing social services specifically to families and children
  • Ability to create, develop, sustain, and lead a team of professionals
  • Ability to provide service in a manner that reflects an appreciation for the cultural background, heritage, and identity of clients and their families, work peers, and other associates
