Facility Operations Mechanic
As a Facility Operations Mechanic, your primary role will involve managing and maintaining various equipment, hardware, and building systems across multiple sites within the county. You will operate autonomously, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the maintenance of HVAC and automation systems, which include air conditioning, heating, plumbing, and lighting.
  • Providing support to plumbers, electricians, and other maintenance personnel as required.
  • Maintaining comprehensive logs and records of equipment performance and repairs.
  • Conducting assessments on boilers and cooling towers, along with compiling detailed reports.
  • Reviewing and executing maintenance checklists, addressing any necessary repairs.
  • Taking the lead on specific projects and assignments.
  • Carrying out additional general maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in facility maintenance.
  • Possession of a valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Capability to climb ladders and lift weights exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Physical stamina and resilience to work in diverse conditions.
  • Willingness to adapt to varying shift schedules and locations.
  • Successful completion of a security clearance check is required.
