About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Building Engineering Manager to join our Operations team at Bevara Building Services. As a critical team member, you will be responsible for addressing client needs, interacting with and supporting field team members nationwide, and overseeing day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a support team that coordinates the day-to-day operations of every market.
  • Assist with building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring all client needs and work orders are addressed.
  • Provide guidance and training on policies and procedures to field team members, evaluating and inspecting buildings for short- and long-term needs, and recommending needed maintenance or improvements.
  • Understand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC systems, and BAS controls.
  • Assist in hiring, training, evaluating, motivating, and developing engineers.
  • Perform biannual performance reviews for field team.
  • Review and verify invoices concerning engineering.
  • Understanding of maintenance management work order system.
  • Take part in contract renewals and getting all the necessary information to the appropriate team members.
  • Continuously support improvement of operational systems and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being.
  • Maintaining own technical skills and assisting on-site in emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Degree in business or related field desired.
  • Demonstrated experience in the field of building maintenance and management.
  • Well-versed in all aspects of building maintenance with the ability to diagnose problems and provide solutions to team members in the field.
  • Ability to take initiative, own tasks, and be flexible regarding changing priorities.
  • Ability to understand workflow, identify process improvements, summarize issues, and make recommendations to management.
  • Experience assessing and preparing documentation related to operational processes.
  • Strategic thinking, strong communication, and time management skills are a must.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time when needed.
