Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our team at United Dental Partners. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for assisting Oral Surgeons in preparing patients for procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for oral surgery procedures by ensuring they are comfortable and providing an additional set of hands for the surgeon.
  • Assist Oral Surgeons in clearly seeing problems and changes within a patient's mouth by taking x-rays and photographs of the teeth.
  • Help keep a patient's mouth clean and dry during procedures and hand the Oral Surgeon the necessary tools at the appropriate time.
  • Assist in all aspects of clinical dental care, including preparing oral surgery patients and ensuring they are comfortable.
  • Previous oral surgery chairside assisting experience is preferred, as is IV Sedation Monitoring Certification.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience as a dental assistant, preferably in oral surgery.
  • IV Sedation Monitoring Certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
