Responsibilities- Assist oral surgeons in preparing patients for procedures, including sterilizing equipment and preparing the treatment area.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment during procedures, including keeping the patient's mouth clean and dry.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including educating patients on procedures and treatment plans.
- Take and monitor patients' vital signs.
- Assist with all aspects of clinical dental care.
- Previous experience as a dental assistant, preferably in an oral surgery setting.
- Coronal polishing/sealant and/or nitrous oxide certification preferred.
- IV Sedation Monitoring Certification preferred.
