Job Summary

Winsmith is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Excellence Manager to lead our efforts in improving business processes and driving operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating and leading teams in company-wide Kaizen and improvement efforts, developing and implementing training on efficiency and inspiring change with employees, and providing technical direction and application support to manufacturing staff and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Facilitate and lead teams in company-wide Kaizen and improvement efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance business performance.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, and inspire change and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Technical Direction: Provide technical direction and application support to manufacturing staff and supervisors to ensure the effective implementation of process improvements.
  • Project Management: Lead capital requests and projects for the facility, and implement new processes to maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and conduct evaluations for advancement, and provide leadership to all shop floor personnel and supervisors.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a manufacturing or technical environment, and 3+ years' experience with continuous improvement.
  • Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office products, and knowledge of Lean practices and ISO standards.
