Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures, and implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
  • Oversee the month-end close and general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Produce periodic financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
  • Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, including capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
  • Work with external CPA firms and provide necessary information for annual audits and tax filings.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 10 years of related experience in accounting, with hands-on experience with SAP and QuickBooks.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

Travel Requirements:

Domestic and international travel required up to 5%.
