Key Responsibilities
  • Sell and maintain a portfolio of construction equipment customers, including contractors, utilities, corporations, and industrial organizations.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and gross profit margins.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to ensure Sonsray Machinery- Portland remains competitive.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, including revenue and gross profit margin goals.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in outside B2B sales, with a proven track record of success in selling heavy or compact construction equipment.
  • Strong understanding of the construction equipment industry, including market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
