Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Analyst to make significant technical contributions that bolster American undersea dominance.

Our team consists of committed analysts and operators who utilize cutting-edge technology to address critical issues in support of the US Navy's Sea Control Mission.

Key Responsibilities

As an Operations Research Modeler specializing in Undersea Warfare, your primary duties will include:

  • Employing various analytical methods and tools, including modeling and simulation, to assess factors such as operational impact, potential concepts of operations (CONOPs), system performance, logistical needs, and cost analysis through the creation of relevant metrics.
  • Engaging in question refinement, requirements development, system evaluation, mission success analysis, and documentation to assess Undersea Warfare (USW) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) platforms and sensors.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of three years of relevant experience, including specific modeling expertise using mission analysis tools such as AFSIM, Brawler, Storm, NGTS, STK, JAAM, or Suppressor.
  • A willingness to travel occasionally for short trips or extended testing periods, along with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks effectively.
  • The capability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by the start date, with the potential to achieve a Top Secret level clearance.
  • A Master’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proficiency in a programming or scripting language such as MATLAB or Python.
  • A demonstrated understanding of data features and patterns that reveal the characteristics and behaviors of systems or components.
  • A current Top Secret security clearance.
