Our goal is to expand the potential of system functionalities by delivering essential performance assessments for both emerging surface combatants and integrated groups of manned and unmanned platforms. Your efforts will transform data into actionable insights, empowering decision-makers to navigate the strategic trajectory of advanced development, integration, and testing within the Navy's combat systems.

As a Combat Systems Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
  • Utilizing your analytical and systems engineering expertise to effectively convert operational requirements into a holistic and efficient combat system solution that considers technical, scheduling, and budgetary constraints.
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders through working groups to evaluate combat systems at operational, functional, technical, and performance levels to inform future development strategies.
  • Providing technical guidance and thought leadership through concept and feasibility studies aimed at establishing effective defensive capabilities by integrating sensors, weaponry, additional information sources, and advanced decision-making processes into an Integrated Combat System (ICS) framework.
  • Evaluating dynamic combat system performance metrics against the capabilities of sensors and other information sources to fulfill the requirements of combat and weapon systems across various warfare domains.
  • Collaborating with other combat system representatives to identify and leverage initiatives that contribute to a unified, adaptable design applicable to multiple ICS platforms.
  • Creating tools to assess combat system performance and visualize data in innovative manners.
  • Producing documentation and decision support materials regarding system requirements, design, technical recommendations, and analysis outcomes.
  • Delivering presentations to technical teams, program leadership, and stakeholders.
Qualifications

You will meet our basic qualifications for this role if you possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience analyzing one or more of the following areas: Integrated Air and Missile Defense Sensors, Weapon System Operations, Command and Control Systems, Integrated Air and Missile Defense Weapons.
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of either the Aegis combat system or the SSDS combat system.
  • A solid understanding of how system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation processes are facilitated by Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) throughout the engineering lifecycle.
  • Experience in resolving complex system of systems challenges.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate relationships across organizational teams, management, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in multitasking, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and meeting deadlines.
  • A willingness to travel as necessary to remote locations and comfort working in secure environments.
  • An active Secret security clearance with the capability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship.
You will exceed our minimum qualifications if you have:
  • A Master’s degree in a STEM field.
  • Over 10 years of experience analyzing one or more of the following areas: Integrated Air and Missile Defense Sensors, Weapon System Operations, Command and Control Systems, Integrated Air and Missile Defense Weapons.
  • Experience and interface-level knowledge of both the Aegis combat system and the SSDS combat system.
  • Direct experience applying MBSE in support of system development.
  • An active Top Secret clearance.
