Key Responsibilities- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with laboratory stakeholders to understand specific needs, workflows, and data management requirements to inform the LIMS implementation strategy.
- System Configuration: Provide requirements to the LIMS vendor for customizing the LIMS software to match our laboratory's specific requirements, including data structures, workflows, and reporting.
- Data Migration: Assist in evaluating strategies for transferring existing laboratory data into the new LIMS system accurately and efficiently.
- User Training: Develop and deliver training programs to laboratory staff on how to effectively use the LIMS system.
- System Validation: Ensure the LIMS system meets regulatory compliance standards and performs as expected.
- Go-Live Support: Provide on-site or remote support during the initial implementation and system launch.
- Post-Implementation Support: Offer ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
- Project Management: Oversee the LIMS implementation project, including timelines, budget, and resource allocation.
- Change Management: Manage the transition to the new LIMS system, addressing concerns, and fostering user adoption.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize laboratory workflows and improve efficiency through LIMS utilization.
- System Integration: Integrate the LIMS with other laboratory systems, such as instruments and data management platforms.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and improve laboratory performance.
- Strong understanding of laboratory operations and workflows.
- Expertise in LIMS software and configuration.

- Technical proficiency in database management and software applications.
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience with Lab Information Systems, Middleware solutions, Laboratory Automation, HL7/ASTM Standards, Clinical Data Management, Clinical Systems Integration.
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Biological Sciences, or Medical Technologies.
