Job Summary

The Senior Payroll Systems Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Lifespan's payroll systems. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll processes, systems, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with HR Benefits/Retirement Compensation and Payroll leaders to analyze workflows, design and improve processes, and leverage technology available.
  • Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities, and work with internal and external stakeholders to select and implement a course of action or develop an appropriate solution.
  • Maintain system tables, rules, etc. in the UKG/Kronos Workforce Dimensions application, and consult with compensation leaders and analysts to determine appropriate use of pay rules and rates.
  • Collaborate with IS and consultants on complex rules changes and other time and attendance projects, and document and communicate business and compliance requirements to ensure consultants' understanding.
  • Participate in testing of ADP Enterprise v6 upgrades, patches, changes to interfaces, and/or customizations, and create and execute test scenarios, document testing errors, and retest errors.
  • Write, maintain, and support various reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools, such as ADP Reporter and Business Objects, and assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer service needs.
  • Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data, and develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Research and resolve problems, unexpected results, and process flaws, and recommend solutions or alternative methods to meet requirements.
  • Use project management skills to support project timelines and goals, and may provide overall project management for given initiatives.
  • Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, and/or policy changes to appropriate leadership for approval prior to implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with ADP Enterprise, ADP Payroll Engine (AutoPay), and UKG Workforce Dimensions preferred.
  • Experience with ADPR and Business Objects or similar reporting tool required.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Access required.
  • Project Management skills preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Normal office conditions with frequent use of personal computer. Work will be performed remotely with occasional in-office days (remote hours 90 to 95% of time).
