Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic audiology services, speech and language testing, and habilitative or rehabilitative services to students with speech, language, or hearing problems.

Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to education, and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues. They will be responsible for maintaining ongoing records for each individual case, initiating and updating short-term and long-term goals, and providing assistance for training of other personnel.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate certificate for the role of Speech Language Pathologist, a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and/or Audiology from an accredited institution of higher learning, and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). You will also need knowledge and understanding of the impact of second language development on the evaluation process, energy and enthusiasm in working with handicapped students, and ability to use technology as an effective communication tool.

Benefits: As a Speech and Language Pathologist with Vancouver Public Schools, you can expect a competitive salary range of $62,925 - $118,608, commensurate upon FTE, degree, credits, and experience. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional compensation, including TRI professional learning, extended year days, extra appendix E supplemental days, and professional development reimbursement. We also offer health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, life, and disability insurance benefits, retirement plans through the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems, and time off, sick, personal, religious, military, and bereavement leave.
