Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in direct palliative care as an APP and be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessments, disease and treatment education, and symptom management to meet the needs of palliative care patients and their families.
- Develop and implement comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans based on patient assessments, evidence-based medicine, and professional practice guidelines.
- Counsel patients and families regarding medical processes, management of the health illness/condition, medication, nutrition, and health promotion.
- Prescribe, recommend, and/or employ medical drug therapies or other forms of related therapeutic treatments and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited program.
- 2 years of AGACNP experience preferred.
- RN- ICU experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/ Spanish preferred.
- Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits.
