As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for providing direction and ensuring all HRIS and Payroll Shared Services' systems, policies, and programs are competitive, sustainable, scalable, and have a significant impact on the organization's performance.
Key Responsibilities:- HRIS: Develop and implement strategies for HR technology, including systems, integrations, and data integrity for HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Benefits, Learning Management, Performance Management, Talent Management, and Reporting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR leadership across all Centers of Excellence and company departments to develop systems and process roadmaps to support all stakeholders.
- Optimization: Optimize all HRIS systems to meet workforce growth requirements, creating opportunities for automation and reducing manual processes.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders at multiple levels, from end-users to executives.
- Technology Trends: Monitor technology trends in HRIS to anticipate and prepare for future or emerging HR technology solutions, considering business and user needs.
- Service Level Agreements: Develop and administer service level agreements, control standards, and issue escalation matrices to ensure policy and process compliance.
- Data Governance: Ensure data governance is established and leveraged consistently throughout HR and the broader organization, as it relates to people data.
- Shared Services: Develop and implement shared services for payroll processes, policies, and procedures to ensure proper internal controls, efficiency, and a great employee experience.
- Culture of Continuous Improvement: Build a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring efficient and consistent employee experience and delivering operational excellence and simplification.
- Process Improvements: Create, identify, and implement innovative methodologies, techniques, process improvements, and evaluation criteria to continually streamline and improve service delivery and people operations.
- Operational Strategy: Build and execute an operational strategy to deliver a superior client experience while creating capacity for business and people growth, development, and continuous improvement.
- Leadership: Lead the HRIS and Payroll Shared Services teams for the US and Canada.
- Negotiation and Oversight: Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and provide oversight for consultants for various services.
- Compliance: Stay abreast of federal, state, and local laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS degree with an emphasis in human resources, business, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years leading direct reports and managing cross-functional teams.
- HRIS and Payroll Experience: Prior experience with HRIS/Payroll, including implementation of new technology, preferred.
- Payroll Experience: Prior experience with payroll in the US, Canada, and Mexico, preferred.
- UKG Experience: 3-5 years of experience with UKG, preferred.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Demonstrated effective management and leadership skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas in a simple manner and tailor key messages and presentation style to multiple audiences.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A creative approach to problem-solving, with a humble, team-oriented, and solutions-focused attitude.
- Goal-Oriented: Goal-oriented with the demonstrated ability to prioritize on a consistent basis in an ever-changing environment and execute from ideation to conclusion.
