Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate, assess, and reinforce educational concepts in collaboration with classroom educators or subject matter experts for individual or small groups of learners.
- Design and execute social skills and/or arts enrichment sessions under the guidance of the classroom instructor or content expert.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including mental health professionals, educators, and therapists, to provide holistic support.
- Gather and analyze academic and behavioral data to inform instructional adjustments and enhance student learning outcomes.
Essential Duties:
- Engage positively and effectively with all stakeholders.
- Deliver educational and behavioral interventions tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Assist children in developing effective coping strategies for various challenges.
- Encourage students to enhance their communication skills and foster independence.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Refer to Licensure/Certifications
- Certification as an Education Technician III from the relevant educational authority (minimum of 90 credits in approved coursework). Certification as a School-Based Behavioral Health Professional is preferred and may be provided upon hiring.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with children or youth facing developmental or mental health challenges.
