Position Overview:

We are seeking an IAM Engineer to join our Global Information Security (GIS) team, focusing on a financial client. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience to provide hands-on operational deployment and support for both commercial and custom software applications. Your work will primarily involve Linux and Windows environments, where you will take on responsibilities for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting information security technologies. Your expertise will be essential in managing and enhancing both vendor and internally developed applications. Participation in rotational on-call duties may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with members of the GIS senior leadership team and key business unit stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of recognized information security professionals on high-visibility security initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Identity & Access Management (IAM) technologies/products, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On, OAuth, Federation, Digital Certificates, Ping, and LDAP.
  • Experience supporting large heterogeneous environments at scale.
  • Strong skills in Windows, Databases, Middleware, SQL & JDBC, and SOAP/REST based Web Services.
  • Expertise in Windows/Active Directory and Linux access systems.
  • Familiarity with SDLC automation/DevOps tools such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, and Ansible.
  • A broad understanding of information security principles.
  • Previous experience in Systems Engineering and Deployment.
  • Knowledge of software/application lifecycle and the implementation of security principles throughout.
  • Ability to coordinate and support large projects that drive transformative change across matrixed organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving, research, and solution delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Cloud Cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of Operational Risk and Compliance.
  • CISSP Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in Information Technology.

Enterprise Role Overview:

This position serves as a key individual contributor, responsible for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting information security and directory technology systems (software & hardware). The role requires utilizing in-depth technical knowledge and business requirements to design and implement secure solutions that meet client needs while safeguarding the organization's assets. You will develop and enforce security standards, procedures, and guidelines across multiple platforms and diverse environments (e.g., client-server, distributed, mainframe, etc.). The role involves exercising judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for achieving results. Leadership may be demonstrated by assigning work and resolving issues.
