We are currently seeking a qualified Admissions Nurse Coordinator to join our team of skilled professionals. This role is essential in maintaining the resident census in alignment with facility objectives, developing and executing marketing strategies, and serving as a crucial link between our facility and the surrounding community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tours for prospective residents and their families.
  • Complete necessary admission documentation.
  • Verify insurance coverage for incoming residents.
  • Collaborate with hospital case managers to facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Utilize nursing expertise to assist in assessments that align with the facility's admission goals.
  • Perform market research and provide marketing recommendations to the Admissions Committee.
  • Assess resident and family satisfaction regarding the admission process and overall facility experience.
  • Represent the facility at community and civic events, staying informed about market changes and guiding the Admissions Committee's involvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the admissions process is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with discharge planners, case managers, physicians, families, and residents.
  • Excellent customer service and public relations abilities.
  • Proficient in public speaking and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
