Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Test Technician to join our team at Stangenes Industries, Inc. As an Electronics Test Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating test equipment to evaluate the performance and reliability of electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate test equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, and circuitry, to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests.
  • Collect, log, and analyze test data to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Indicate test status on all products tested by stamping product identification tags.
  • Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems and collaborate with electrical engineers and other personnel.
  • Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered.
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in electronic testing and maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical test and inspection equipment, including DVMs, oscilloscopes, calipers, micrometers, scales, and other equipment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of using Job Packets.
  • Basic computer skills, use of email and Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to understand electrical schematics and basic mechanical drawings and documentation.
  • Ability to work on Printed Circuit Boards, basic soldering rework skills.
  • Ability to work with electronic test equipment and hand tools in a manufacturing production test environment.
