Job Title: Director, Finance

Chemring Sensors and Electronic Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Finance to join our Senior Leadership Team. As a key member of the team, the Director, Finance will play a strategic role in the financial management of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all aspects of the accounting and financial planning and analysis cycle.
  • Develop and implement financial systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to ensure the organization's long-term financial wellbeing and growth.
  • Prepare annual organizational budgets and long-range financial projections.
  • Oversee the preparation and sharing of monthly financial reports, audits, and tax reporting to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
  • Active CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • 10-15 years of relevant Finance and Accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility; minimum of 5 years in a Government Contracting environment.
  • Experience developing forward pricing rates and forecasting preferred.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance commensurate with the level of facility clearance.
