Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

As a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in our Gastroenterology department, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and manage gastroenterology health issues. Your expertise will be essential in delivering exceptional patient outcomes and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Work in our clinics and/or hospitals, providing consultation and follow-up care to patients in collaboration with a gastroenterologist.
- Conduct thorough patient histories, physical exams, and provide patient education as needed.
- Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner to ensure consistency of care and adequate billing.
- Initiate and manage therapies for preventative and chronic GI diseases, including prescription orders and lab reviews.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient care and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's degree in Science, Physician Assistant Studies or Master's degree in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, you must be certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and hold a valid license in MN and WI. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatrics and/or as a practicing APP in the community is also required.
Working Environment:You will work in a clinical environment, exposed to hazardous chemicals or conditions, including blood or other body fluids. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and training will be provided. You may be required to travel by automobile and be exposed to changing weather conditions.
