Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Hospitalist APP to join our team in the Children's Hospital Medicine Program.
The successful candidate will provide assessments and create medical plans of care for hospitalized patients, working independently and in collaboration with physician hospitalists.
Responsibilities- Collect and synthesize data from historical information, diagnostic tests, therapeutic interventions, and physical examination to determine diagnosis and appropriate intervention.
- Work closely with hospital sub-specialists, surgical staff, nursing staff, and social workers to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients and their families.
- Perform tasks independently and in collaboration with physician hospitalists.
- Graduate of an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred.
- Current MN RN/APRN or Physician Assistant license, respectively.
- Nationally Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Current or previous experience in inpatient pediatrics as a nurse, nurse practitioner, or PA is preferred.
