Pines Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information.
- Prepare and maintain patient charts, records, and other documents.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures.
- Assist with patient education and counseling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant certification or training preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
