Job Summary
Intesa Sanpaolo Group is seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) efforts in the Americas. As the Head of Equity Capital Markets - Americas, you will be responsible for originating and executing ECM transactions with corporate and financial institution clients.
Main Responsibilities
- Advise and structure ECM transactions with clients, leveraging your expertise in investment banking and capital markets.
- Present ECM solutions to clients at all levels of seniority, utilizing your strong communication and presentation skills.
- Liaise regularly with industry group heads, relationship managers, and project finance team members to build international ECM revenues.
- Collaborate with ECM teams in Milan and London to grow the ECM business globally.
- Coordinate with ECM teams to facilitate the distribution of European offerings to US investors.
- Oversee specific aspects of transactions, including legal, compliance, approvals, and documentation.
- Manage the P&L of the ECM desk and liaise with accounting to ensure accurate reconciliation with head office accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior management internally.
Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in investment banking, advisory, and capital markets.
- Bachelor's degree required, post-graduate degree in finance, economics, or business administration preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the US capital markets and regulatory framework.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with bankers and teams in multiple locations.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in Italian a plus.
- Series 79, 24, and 63 licenses required.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $300,000.
