Paramedic Laboratory Support Specialist

Position Overview:

The Paramedic Laboratory Support Specialist will work under the guidance of the lead instructor to assist with practical skills, simulations, and evaluations as required in the laboratory environment.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $19.46

Work Schedule:

Key Responsibilities:

The Paramedic Laboratory Support Specialist will:
  • Assist in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) laboratory
  • Support the Program Director or lead instructor in delivering lab instruction, conducting skills assessments, and facilitating evaluations in both laboratory and clinical settings
  • Adapt to varying lab hours based on program needs

Essential Qualifications:

Applicants must possess:
  • Current AHA CPR certification
  • KBEMS Paramedic instructor certification
  • Unrestricted Kentucky Paramedic License
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Platinum is preferred

Desirable Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have:
  • Associate's degree or higher
  • AHA CPR Instructor certification
  • AHA ACLS Instructor certification
  • AHA PALS Instructor certification
