Job Responsibilities

The Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing Director in a variety of functions, including: creating and researching content for digital platforms, assisting in the design of advertisements—both online and offline, managing requests for marketing materials, and keeping the Director informed about inquiries from media representatives and emerging issues in the press. The role also involves monitoring media alerts for mentions of the organization, capturing images for social media or website updates, and gathering data from Google Ads, Analytics, and other social media channels.

Key Duties:

  • Social Media Management: Collaborate with the Director to research and prepare engaging content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread materials for both print and digital formats.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from various sources to create dashboards and reports.
  • Graphic Design: Assist in designing graphics or advertisements as required.
  • Event Photography: Capture photographs during events as needed.
  • Material Requests: Respond to inquiries for marketing materials.
  • Media Monitoring: Track media alerts for mentions of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in marketing and social media.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, as well as familiarity with management tools like Hootsuite.
  • Graphic design skills, particularly with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with Google Ads, Business, and Analytics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Access, Teams, or Power BI.
  • Photography and video editing skills using digital cameras or smartphones.
  • Experience in writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
