Job Title: Construction Technician

This role involves performing physical labor on heavy construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating hand and power tools, including air hammers, earth tampers, and surveying equipment. They will also be required to perform cleanup tasks, dig trenches, and handle heavy materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare construction sites to ensure safety
  • Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment and movement of machinery
  • Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth to grade specifications
  • Load, unload, and identify construction materials, machinery, and tools
  • Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement
  • Tend equipment and vehicles that pump concrete, grout, cement, sand, and aggregate
Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, walking, twisting, bending, and lifting of up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying temperatures and weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Ability to provide proper documentation of eligibility to work in the United States
Working Conditions:

This role involves working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, high winds, and exposure to loud noise from heavy equipment. The successful candidate must be able to work safely and efficiently in these conditions.
