Position Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Leader will manage maintenance activities, employing precision and preventative strategies to optimize equipment and plant uptime. This role emphasizes servant leadership, focusing on the growth of maintenance personnel through effective coaching and adherence to best practices, ensuring both efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Guide and support maintenance staff in troubleshooting equipment to minimize operational interruptions. Oversee inventory management to regulate storeroom expenditures in line with budgetary constraints. Ensure proper utilization of parts and equipment, adhering to established maintenance protocols. Supervise compliance with safety and environmental regulations across the maintenance team. Spearhead the development and execution of reliability improvement initiatives within the facility. Exhibit ownership of business objectives by effectively leading maintenance staff towards common goals. Champion safety initiatives by identifying potential hazards, conducting safety briefings, and coordinating safety-related maintenance tasks. Provide mentorship in safety practices, training, and task distribution to uphold the highest safety standards for maintenance personnel. Collaborate with operational and mechanical leaders to plan, schedule, and execute daily maintenance tasks, enhancing reliability metrics.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree in a Maintenance-related field - Preferred Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing setting with Mechanical and Electrical expertise - Required. Proficient understanding of maintenance methodologies and equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes) - Required Familiarity with PM programs and software (e.g., JDE, SAP, etc.) - Preferred Strong safety awareness with a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative. Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various organizational levels. A positive, can-do attitude that inspires others to perform at their best. Strong organizational skills with effective time management to handle multiple tasks. Availability for on-call duties and willingness to work alternating weekends for preventative maintenance.
