Position Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Leader will manage maintenance activities, employing precision and preventative strategies to enhance the operational uptime of plant and production machinery. This role emphasizes servant leadership, focusing on the growth of maintenance personnel through effective coaching and adherence to optimal maintenance practices, thereby promoting efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Guide and support maintenance staff in troubleshooting equipment to minimize operational interruptions. Supervise inventory procurement to manage storeroom expenditures in line with budgetary constraints. Ensure adherence to preferred maintenance protocols for parts and equipment usage. Oversee compliance with safety and environmental regulations at the corporate, division, and plant levels. Spearhead the development and execution of reliability improvement initiatives within the facility. Exhibit leadership in achieving business objectives by aligning maintenance teams with strategic goals. Champion safety initiatives by identifying potential hazards, leading safety discussions, and coordinating maintenance-related safety measures. Provide guidance and training in safety practices, work distribution, and maintaining high safety standards for all maintenance personnel. Collaborate with operational and mechanical leadership to plan, schedule, and execute daily tasks and maintenance activities, enhancing reliability metrics.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree in a Maintenance-related field - Preferred Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing setting with Mechanical and Electrical expertise - Required. Proficient understanding of maintenance methodologies and equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes) - Required Familiarity with PM programs and software (e.g., JDE, SAP, etc.) - Preferred Strong safety orientation with comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative. Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various organizational levels. Demonstrated ability to inspire a positive and proactive work environment. Strong organizational skills with effective time management to handle multiple tasks. Availability for on-call duties and willingness to work alternate weekends for preventative maintenance.
