Position Summary

As a Biomedical Engineer, you will:

  • Conduct on-site clinical assessments for both new and existing clients, showcasing the functionality of our products and services to enhance the application of IGS (Image Guided Surgery) technology.
  • Provide expert consulting and support to medical professionals and operating room teams, addressing challenges and optimizing surgical efficiency during procedures.
  • Lead the installation of systems and ensure operational readiness at client sites.
  • Deliver training to physicians and hospital staff, including operating room personnel, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical, and IT teams, on the effective use of our surgical solutions.
  • Utilize your engineering knowledge to contribute to quality enhancement initiatives by suggesting product improvements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to assess satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for service contracts and upgrades.

In collaboration with the Account Manager, you will evaluate customer needs and initiate sales projects, while also resolving product-related issues through detailed analysis and engineering insights.

Stay informed about advancements in Brainlab and competitor offerings through continuous education and research. Attend annual surgical education sessions and maintain up-to-date product knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, Nursing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role within the healthcare sector is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other PC software applications.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of making independent decisions.
