Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process and Applications Engineer I-II (Semiconductor) to join our team at EBARA TECHNOLOGIES INCORPORATED. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, and evaluating semiconductor products from product definition and planning through production, process testing, and release.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new or modified process formulations and exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Provide technical support for the development and implementation of customer applications dealing with semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Define processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications and review processing techniques and methods.
  • Support the development and implementation of customer applications dealing with complex operating systems.
  • Provide, present, and interpret design, application, and service information and make presentations on all aspects of products.
  • Assist in the implementation of customer installation plans.
  • Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications.
  • Develop test plans, generate process data, and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables to meet process, design, or material specifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Zero (0) to Four (4) years of work experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical skills, principles of semiconductor and/or vacuum technology, and MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong Customer Relations skills, demonstrated ability to troubleshoot down to a component level, and strong time management skills.

  • The ability to lift 35lbs. unassisted from the floor to waist level.
  • The ability to perform the identified essential functions of the classification, including the operation of any machinery and/or equipment that is associated with performing the essential functions.
  • The ability to perform the essential functions of the position in a cross-cultural, demanding, and dynamic environment.
  • The ability to adhere to EBARA personnel policies and practices, including the attendance and punctuality requirements.
