Job Summary

As a key member of the University Health team, the Patient Access Services Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Admissions and Registration departments. This position is responsible for managing the quality and production of access and registration functions, planning and implementing methods to improve work procedures and staff needs, and assisting in the preparation and administration of departmental budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the quality and production of access and registration functions
• Plan and implement methods to improve work procedures and staff needs
• Assist in the preparation and administration of departmental budgets
• Implement projects and activities to achieve goals established in short-term and long-term plans
• Coordinate and communicate Health System changes

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or equivalent experience is required. Working knowledge of insurance, third-party payer options, hospital admissions, and billing processes for inpatient and outpatient services are also required. Supervisory experience is preferred.
