As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective coverage and maintenance of our central utility systems.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and operate central utility systems, including ammonia refrigeration, boilers/steam, compressed air, and water systems.
- Monitor and adjust system controls to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems, including valve operation, temperature and pressure readings, and log sheet recording.
- Conduct periodic inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient operation of systems and equipment.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial refrigeration/HVAC.
- Working knowledge of basic industrial electricity and utilities.
- Ammonia operator certification (Garden City or equivalent) a plus.
- Experience with boiler and steam systems, compressed air systems, and water systems a plus.
