Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team in New Castle, IN. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of finished parts by visually inspecting and documenting any imperfections.

This is a contract-to-hire position with a duration of 3 months. The ideal candidate will have experience in visual inspection, quality documentation, and working in a manufacturing environment.

The work site is a manufacturer with robotic welders, and the facility has over 15 lines. The candidate must be flexible to work on weekends and up to 60 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Use Appearance Specification Card to verify no imperfections in finished parts
  • Visually inspect and document any parts that do not meet client specifications
  • Walk to different departments/work stations to perform quality checks
  • Document cleared parts and log information into a computer
  • Audit and sort inventory
