About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Bobby Jones Links. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish that leaves the kitchen is of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, or deep fryers with precision and care.
  • Prepare and cook food according to directives, verifying the quality and quantity of all orders.
  • Plate prepared foods based on senior chef's guidance, ensuring presentation is appealing and appetizing.
  • Work closely with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time, providing excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations throughout the kitchen and restaurant, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Strong multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Prior completion of food safety coursework is preferred, but not required.

  • Walk, sit, stand for long periods of time, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly; up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
