Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Part Time Receptionist to join our team at Hendrick Chevrolet Buick GMC in Richmond, VA. As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Direct calls to the appropriate department or person.
  • Greet customers as they enter the dealership showroom.
  • Direct customers to the appropriate department or person.
  • Maintain CSI at or above company standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Participate in required training.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the Company's Core Values.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Previous customer service or administrative experience in a high-volume environment desired.

Skills:

Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills required.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills to utilize the timekeeping system. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.

Communication Skills:

Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.

Attendance Expectations:

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and some holidays.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

Environment Demands:

Duties are performed primarily at a desk in an office setting. Work includes frequent clerical and administrative responsibilities and interaction with customers, managers, and employees.
