Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineer to conduct on-site clinical evaluations, provide consulting services, and lead installations at customer sites. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with physicians, operating room personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site clinical evaluations to demonstrate product usage and increase IGS product usage
  • Provide consulting services, guidance, and assistance to physicians and operating room personnel
  • Lead installations and establish functionality at new and existing customer sites
  • Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on product use and functionality
  • Contribute to quality improvement processes by recommending product modifications
  • Maintain site visits and regular contact with customers to assess satisfaction and usage levels
  • Work with the Account Manager to evaluate customer opportunities and open sales projects
  • Resolve product issues through detailed analysis and utilization of engineering expertise
  • Stay up-to-date with new developments in Brainlab and competitive surgery products and services
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, Nursing, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company or provider
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology
  • Proficient in PC software applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to make independent decisions
