At the Senior Staff level, individuals have developed a solid foundation of technical expertise and are consistently enhancing their skills to tackle more complex challenges. Senior Staff members are expected to take on increased responsibilities, positioning themselves for advancement to Senior roles. They should operate with minimal oversight and possess a comprehensive understanding of our firm's practices, policies, and culture. Additionally, they play a crucial role in mentoring entry-level staff, interns, and paraprofessionals.

The Enterprise Group is dedicated to delivering exceptional service with a client-centric approach, ensuring that all client needs are met comprehensively. Professionals will engage in service delivery through three primary avenues:

  1. Providing attestation services, including audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements, while also offering value-added insights related to internal controls and operational efficiencies.
  2. Delivering tax services to address the intricate tax challenges faced by closely held businesses, including the formulation and execution of tax strategies that consider both domestic and international tax implications.
  3. Offering consulting services tailored to individual client requirements, which may encompass valuation and negotiation for mergers and acquisitions, preparation of financial forecasts for capital needs, and profitability analysis for business turnaround initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Regular responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Quickly grasping concepts and showcasing mastery of fundamental technical skills, along with a thorough understanding of relevant systems and procedures.
  • Proactively displaying a willingness to learn and engage in more intricate tasks and projects on an ongoing basis.
  • Making informed decisions by considering all relevant information before reaching conclusions.
  • Asking pertinent questions and seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Adhering to the regulations and ethical standards set forth by relevant professional bodies, including the AICPA.
  • Staying updated on all professional announcements and developments.
  • Developing proficiency in the technology essential for executing job responsibilities.
  • Understanding the fundamentals of client systems within the context of specific projects.
  • Maintaining the designated chargeable hours for the year as determined by leadership.
  • Ensuring quality control measures are implemented under the supervision of engagement management.
  • Fostering positive relationships with clients.
  • Responding promptly and accurately to requests from internal teams and clients.
  • Working with accuracy, efficiency, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Effectively managing workloads within budgetary constraints and assisting new associates in prioritizing tasks.
  • Communicating challenges encountered during engagements to the engagement supervisor.
  • Conducting thorough self-reviews of all work prior to submission for supervisory review.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • 1-2 years in a relevant role.
  • Experience in public accounting or a similar professional services environment is preferred.

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A degree in Accounting is required for Audit or Tax roles.
  • A Master's degree or completion of 150 credits in designated states is preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Actively pursuing CPA certification or relevant certification for the respective discipline.
  • Must maintain required Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits annually.

Legal/Compliance:

  • Completion of the Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards acknowledgment is required.
  • For government engagements, the ability to obtain a security clearance from the United States government is necessary.
