The Enterprise Group is dedicated to delivering services with a client-centric approach, ensuring all client needs are met. Professionals will engage in service delivery through three primary avenues:

  1. Assurance services (audits, reviews, and compilations) on financial statements, while also providing value-added insights regarding internal controls and operational efficiencies.
  2. Tax advisory services aimed at addressing the intricate tax challenges faced by closely held enterprises. Professionals will participate in crafting and executing tax strategies that consider both domestic and international tax implications, including income, excise, and estate and gift taxes.
  3. Consulting services tailored to meet specific client requirements, which may encompass valuation and negotiation for mergers and acquisitions, preparation of financial forecasts for additional capital needs, and profitability analyses for business turnaround initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Regular responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Quickly grasping concepts and demonstrating mastery of fundamental technical skills, along with an understanding of necessary systems and procedures.
  • Exhibiting a proactive attitude towards learning and undertaking more complex tasks and projects consistently.
  • Making informed decisions by considering all relevant information before reaching conclusions.
  • Asking pertinent questions and seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Adhering to the regulations and ethical standards set forth by relevant professional bodies, including AICPA.
  • Staying updated on all professional pronouncements.
  • Developing proficiency in the technology essential for executing job responsibilities.
  • Understanding the fundamentals of client systems within the context of any client project.
  • Maintaining the designated chargeable hours for the year as determined by Geography & Discipline leaders.
  • Ensuring quality control procedures are followed under the guidance of engagement management.
  • Fostering positive client relationships.
  • Responding promptly and accurately to requests from internal teams and clients.
  • Working with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Effectively managing workload within established budgetary constraints; assisting new associates in prioritizing tasks.
  • Communicating challenges encountered during engagements to the engagement supervisor appropriately.
  • Conducting thorough self-reviews of all work prior to submission to the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • 1-2 years in a relevant role.
  • Experience in public accounting or a similar professional services environment is preferred.

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (for Audit or Tax).
  • Master's degree or completion of 150 credits in designated states.

Licensure / Certification:

  • Actively pursuing CPA Exam or relevant certification for the respective discipline, if not already obtained.
  • Must maintain required CPE credits annually.

Legal / Compliance:

  • Completion of the Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards acknowledgment is required.
  • Government engagements necessitate the ability to obtain a security clearance from the United States government.
