Role Summary

The Field Sales Representative is responsible for promoting residential lawn care solutions to both new and existing clients through face-to-face interactions. This role involves traveling to residential neighborhoods and engaging in door-to-door sales activities.

Key Responsibilities
1. Conducts outdoor sales activities requiring travel to residential locations.
2. Markets residential lawn care services, including weed management, fertilization, and pest control, along with specialized offerings tailored to customer needs to meet weekly sales targets.
3. Increases sales revenue by cross-selling and upselling to current clients.
4. Compiles lists of potential clients for sales leads using information from various sources.
5. Identifies target areas for sales efforts on a weekly basis.
6. Develops effective sales pitches to cultivate customer relationships, highlight value-added services, and address potential concerns.
7. Engages with prospective clients to explain the benefits and value of services offered.
8. Provides pricing quotes, negotiates terms, and finalizes sales.
9. Collects customer contact details for each transaction.
10. Estimates service dates based on knowledge of branch operations and schedules.
11. Walks door-to-door in residential neighborhoods to attract new clients.
12. May perform on-site evaluations to assess insulation needs and provide pricing estimates for insulation services.
13. Prepares and maintains detailed sales reports.

Education and Experience Requirements
* High School Diploma / GED required.
* Previous experience in customer service and/or sales is preferred.
* Relevant certifications as mandated by local, state, or federal regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Strong consultative sales skills and excellent verbal communication abilities.
* Familiarity with sales techniques such as prospecting, overcoming objections, and closing deals.
* Capability to identify and evaluate potential sales opportunities.
* Ability to build and maintain customer relationships while providing exceptional service.
* Proficient in data entry using mobile devices.
* Mathematical skills for calculating figures such as discounts and commissions.
* Effective time management skills, including punctuality.

Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33 to $60,138.00, based on qualifications including experience and training. Most candidates will start in the lower half of the pay range, with the upper range typically reserved for those with extensive experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer benefits such as Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and a Company-matching 401(k) plan, along with other programs and perks.
