Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Operator to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a Fabrication Operator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to fabrication, including reading blueprints, operating machinery, and performing quality control checks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing instructions to perform fabrication tasks
  • Operate various machines and equipment, including brakes, turrets, and shears
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
  • Identify and verify parts, and transfer materials as needed
  • Provide product improvement suggestions and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • One year of fabrication experience preferred
  • Ability to perform simple shop math and read blueprints
  • Understanding of World Class manufacturing principles is desirable
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
