Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team at Superior Essex. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential customers, and developing strategies to drive growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aggressive research to identify and qualify potential clients
  • Developing strategies to initiate contact and build relationships with key decision-makers
  • Creating and presenting proposals and presentations to prospective clients
  • Communicating business terms and closing leads
  • Developing business models and structures in collaboration with our distribution business team
  • Reporting on progress and key pursuits
  • Assembling and managing a highly motivated business development team

Requirements:

  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze and develop business strategies
  • Self-starter with ability to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
  • Seven years of related experience in Automotive, Electronics, Electrical Component Distribution, and HEV/EV Battery
