About the Role:
The Sales Associate position is pivotal within the STS sales team, facilitating the entire sales process from initial customer engagement to proposal development. This role is essential for ensuring that deals progress swiftly through the sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Associate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the primary liaison for the STS sales team regarding all internal deliverables from proposal inception to booking.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to support various projects, including identifying current owners and optimizers of portfolios.
  • Creating and managing tailored economic models that reflect the comprehensive value provided to partners on significant deals.
  • Overseeing all facets of proposal development, including coordination, writing, editing, and document assembly.
  • Becoming proficient in solution design to address technical inquiries related to economic modeling, savings analysis, and pricing.
  • Facilitating customer meetings and events on behalf of the STS sales team as needed.
  • Delivering training to partner accounts as required.
  • Proactively learning to utilize and master tools that assist partners in integrating Stem Software & Services into their offerings.
  • Communicating project status to relevant stakeholders and maintaining updates via the CRM system.
  • Developing quotes using CPQ and collaborating with sales operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Creating campaigns to attract new customers and engage existing ones to drive sales.
  • Representing Stem professionally during customer interactions and events.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A positive attitude and strong communication skills across departments.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in analytics, consulting, finance, or sales engineering, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to create custom models in MS Excel.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with coursework in finance and accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to multitask and manage projects under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in energy storage, solar, construction, or engineering-related industries is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word and MS Excel, and familiarity with Salesforce.

Salary Range: $62,000 - $86,950.00
